Reuse and up-cycle t-shirts to rag rugs.

The volunteers at Upcycle Newcastle have put together these kits, and even started the rag rug for you and includes the instructions on how to continue with your rug. You can make it as big as you like or as small as you like. It really is up to you and might be just the kick you need to clean out your cupboards and add to the starter kit.

Upcycle have even made their own instruction videos on youtube, so do a search for Upcycle Newcastle to see the videos. The method to make these rugs is a simple finger crochet and is taught to primary school kids, so anyone can give it a go.

These kits are made from donated t-shirts and all fabric has been freshly laundered. Due to the nature of up cycling we can’t guarantee the colours you will get in the pack, however they will be colour coordinated.
